Fence Variants and Layout Options

To keep your terrain layouts feeling natural and varied, the WarFront Fences range includes a selection of 6-inch straight sections with subtle but important differences.

Alongside the standard straight fence, you’ll find versions with gaps, gates, and battle-damaged ruined sections. These small variations go a long way in breaking up repetition, helping you create more believable field boundaries and lived-in environments.

Gaps and gates introduce natural access points and movement across the battlefield, while ruined sections add character and a sense of history to your terrain. Mixed together, these variants create richer, more believable layouts that capture the irregular character of real-world terrain.

Fully Articulated Fence System

One of the standout features of the WarFront Fences range is the fully articulated design, allowing sections to be positioned at almost any angle. This gives you the freedom to create natural curves, irregular boundaries, and more realistic field layouts without being restricted to fixed angles.

The articulation system builds on the proven mechanism used across the WarFront bocage range. For fences, however, it had to be further evolved and refined to support the more delicate fence structures, ensuring the mechanism remains discreet and does not compromise the visual integrity of the models.

This flexibility allows you to follow natural terrain features such as dirt roads and farmland boundaries, creating layouts that feel organic, varied, and grounded in realism.

Designed for Compatibility

The articulated fence sections are designed using the same overall lengths as the WarFront bocage range and are available in 3, 4, 6, and 8-inch variants. This ensures the same seamless integration with the dirt roads allowing you to line both the inner and outer edges of curved road sections with fences if so desired.

The result is a unified approach to terrain building, where fences, bocage, and roads all follow the same underlying structure – making it easy to combine elements into an interconnected battlefield.
