Modular Farmland System

The WarFront Farmlands have been designed as a fully modular terrain system, allowing individual field sections to be combined into larger agricultural landscapes. Rather than relying on a handful of fixed layouts, the modular approach gives you the freedom to build anything from small farm plots to expansive fields that stretch across the battlefield.

Each piece has been carefully modelled so that both the ploughed field texture and the edges of each section transition seamlessly from one piece to the next. The result is a modular system that blends together naturally, avoiding the hard, artificial-looking joins often associated with tiled terrain.

The Farmlands range includes a variety of field shapes, including large and small squares, rectangular sections, wedges, and sweeping curved pieces. For models where the direction of the ploughed field texture is important, both horizontal and vertical texture variants are available. Together, these options provide the flexibility to create varied farmland layouts while maintaining a seamless and natural-looking field pattern across the entire tabletop.

Built for Compatibility

The Farmland models integrate seamlessly with the wider WarFront terrain system, including Dirt Roads, Bocage and Fences. Once a road network has been established and lined with Bocage, the modular Farmland pieces can be placed into the remaining spaces, naturally filling open ground and creating a believable environment.

This compatibility allows you to build dense and varied rural battlefields without needing to plan every layout in advance. Roads, hedgerows and farmland can be combined organically, letting each battlefield evolve naturally as you build it.

Standalone Models

In addition to the modular Farmland system, separate standalone pieces have been created allowing for quick and simple battlefield placement. These slightly larger pieces come pre-decorated with fences and are available in both a normal and battle-damaged ruined variant.

Use these standalone pieces to add instant character and detail to your battlefield with minimal setup.

Choose Your Finish

As with the Dirt Roads, the Farmlands models are available in two versions to suit different hobby styles. The fully textured versions feature a highly detailed ploughed field surface with a subtle scattering of small rocks modelled directly into the terrain. These are ideal for hobbyists who want to simply print, paint, and get their terrain onto the battlefield quickly.

For hobbyists who prefer to add their own basing textures and surface detail, plain versions are also included. These retain the full shape and structure of each piece while removing the surface texture entirely, giving complete freedom to build your own custom finish.
